Melt in your mouth sugar cookies

Yield: 96 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 \N Sticks butter or margarine; softened
1 cup Vegetable oil
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Powdered sugar; sifted
2 \N Eggs
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
4½ cup All purpose flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Cream of tartar
1 teaspoon Salt

Combine butter, oil and sugars. Beat well at medium speed. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Combine flour, soda, salt and cream of tartar in a medium bowl. Add to creamed mixture, beating well. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.

Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar (dip glass in dough first, so sugar will stick). Bake a 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Yield - 8 dozen John Taylor LifeBeat Air Medical DAVE <DAVIDG@...>
