Meat roll

Yield: 8 servings

Measure Ingredient
1½ pounds Hamburger
2 cups Breadcrumbs
1 Onion
1 cup Chopped celery
1½ teaspoon Salt
⅛ teaspoon Pepper
1 Egg, beaten
⅔ cup Milk

Mix hamburger with salt, pepper, beaten egg and ½ cup breadcrumbs.

Add just enough milk to make it stick together.

Mix well, put on waxed paper and flatten out.

Spread on the meat a filling made of the remainder of the bread, chopped celery, and onion.

Moisten with ½ cup milk or water.

Roll up like a jelly roll.

Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
