Maxwell house's italian meat sauce

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 \N Clove garlic; minced
2 tablespoons Oil
1 can Cambell's condensed tomato soup
1½ cup Brewed Maxwell House coffee
3 ounces Can sliced mushrooms
½ cup Chopped green pepper
\N \N Grated Parmesan cheese
1 medium Onion; chopped
1 pounds Ground beef
12 ounces Tomato paste
½ teaspoon Sugar
¼ teaspoon Basil or oregano
1 pounds Hot; cooked spaghetti

Brown garlic and onion lightly in oil. Add meat and brown. Stir in soup, tomato paste, coffee and sugar. Mix well and simmer 30 minutes. Add mushrooms and basil and simmer 5 minutes longer.
