Maxwell house's italian meat sauce

1 | can | Cambell's condensed tomato soup |
1½ | cup | Brewed Maxwell House coffee |
3 | ounces | Can sliced mushrooms |
½ | cup | Chopped green pepper |
Grated Parmesan cheese | ||
1 | medium | Onion; chopped |
1 | pounds | Ground beef |
12 | ounces | Tomato paste |
½ | teaspoon | Sugar |
¼ | teaspoon | Basil or oregano |
1 | pounds | Hot; cooked spaghetti |
Directions
Brown garlic and onion lightly in oil. Add meat and brown. Stir in soup, tomato paste, coffee and sugar. Mix well and simmer 30 minutes. Add mushrooms and basil and simmer 5 minutes longer.
