Maxwell house's italian meat sauce

Ingredients

1canCambell's condensed tomato soup
cupBrewed Maxwell House coffee
3ouncesCan sliced mushrooms
½cupChopped green pepper
Grated Parmesan cheese
1mediumOnion; chopped
1poundsGround beef
12ouncesTomato paste
½teaspoonSugar
¼teaspoonBasil or oregano
1poundsHot; cooked spaghetti

Directions

Brown garlic and onion lightly in oil. Add meat and brown. Stir in soup, tomato paste, coffee and sugar. Mix well and simmer 30 minutes. Add mushrooms and basil and simmer 5 minutes longer.
