|¼ cup||Lemon-lime carbonated beverage (like 7-up; or sprite)|
|¼ cup||Dry sherry|
|¼ cup||Soy sauce|
|3 tablespoons||White vinegar|
|½ teaspoon||Garlic powder|
|2 pounds||Sirloin steak; cut into 1" cubes|
|2 cups||Cherry tomatoes|
|2 mediums||Carrots; cut into eighths|
|½ pounds||Fresh mushroom caps|
|2 mediums||Size green peppers; cut into 1" pieces|
|1 small||Pineapple; cut into 1" pieces|

Combine first 8 ingredients in a large shallow bowl. Add beef cubes, cover and marinate in refrigerator 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove beef cubes from marinade, reserving marinade. Alternately thread beef cubes, tomatoes, onions, mushroom caps, green pepper and pineapple onto skewers.
Grill, covered, over medium-hot coals (350 degrees to 400 degrees) 10-12 minutes or to desired degree of doneness, turning and basting occasionally with reserved marinade. Makes 4-5 servings.
