Marinated sirloin kabobs

Ingredients

| ¼ | cup | Dry sherry |
| ¼ | cup | Soy sauce |

| ½ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| 2 | pounds | Sirloin steak; cut into 1\" cubes |
| 2 | cups | Cherry tomatoes |
| 2 | mediums | Carrots; cut into eighths |
| ½ | pounds | Fresh mushroom caps |
| 2 | mediums | Size green peppers; cut into 1\" pieces |
| 1 | small | Pineapple; cut into 1\" pieces |

submitted by: sgjg6566@... (Julie, Michigan, USA) Hi everyone!! It's summer (?!) in the United States, so here's one of my favorite grill recipes. It comes from America's Best Recipes (Southern Living). Enjoy!
Combine first 8 ingredients in a large shallow bowl. Add beef cubes, cover and marinate in refrigerator 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove beef cubes from marinade, reserving marinade. Alternately thread beef cubes, tomatoes, onions, mushroom caps, green pepper and pineapple onto skewers.
Grill, covered, over medium-hot coals (350 degrees to 400 degrees) 10-12 minutes or to desired degree of doneness, turning and basting occasionally with reserved marinade. Makes 4-5 servings.
