Marinated mirliton

Ingredients

10tablespoonsVinegar (cider)
½teaspoonThyme, powdered
2tablespoonsSalt
1cupCorn oil
½teaspoonOregano, powdered
½teaspoonRed pepper flakes
Garlic cloves (whole) as desired.
Garlic powder to taste

Directions

Peel and remove seed from mirlitons and cut into bite size pieces.

In lge. pot of boiling water, place mirlitons and cook for no more than 3 min. Drain and cool. Make up marinade and pour over mirlitons.
