Marinated mirliton

Yield: 1 batch

Measure Ingredient
12 eaches Mirlitons
10 tablespoons Vinegar (cider)
½ teaspoon Thyme, powdered
2 tablespoons Salt
1 cup Corn oil
½ teaspoon Oregano, powdered
½ teaspoon Red pepper flakes
\N \N Garlic cloves (whole) as desired.
\N \N Garlic powder to taste

Peel and remove seed from mirlitons and cut into bite size pieces.

In lge. pot of boiling water, place mirlitons and cook for no more than 3 min. Drain and cool. Make up marinade and pour over mirlitons.
