Marinated mirliton

Ingredients

| 12 | eaches | Mirlitons |
| 10 | tablespoons | Vinegar (cider) |
| ½ | teaspoon | Thyme, powdered |
| 2 | tablespoons | Salt |
| 1 | cup | Corn oil |
| ½ | teaspoon | Oregano, powdered |
| ½ | teaspoon | Red pepper flakes |
| Garlic cloves (whole) as desired. | ||
| Garlic powder to taste | ||
Directions
Peel and remove seed from mirlitons and cut into bite size pieces.
In lge. pot of boiling water, place mirlitons and cook for no more than 3 min. Drain and cool. Make up marinade and pour over mirlitons.
