Ma's golden layer cake

Ingredients

| 2¼ | cup | Flour; sifted |
| 1½ | cup | Sugar |
| 2½ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | Stick butter | |
| 1 | cup | Milk; less 2 tbsp |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla extract |
Directions
Sift together all dry ingredients. Add butter and ⅔ of milk; beat 2 minutes at high speed. Add eggs & balance of milk; beat 2 more minutes. Add vanilla. Bake 20-25 minutes at 375 F Recipe By : Ma
