Linguine with prosciutto and onion sauce

Ingredients

| 3 | Garlic cloves, minced | |
| 2 | larges | Cans plum tomatoes, pureed |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| 3 | tablespoons | Olive oil |
| ¼ | pounds | Prosciutto, diced |
| 8 | ounces | Tomato sauce |
| 1 | tablespoon | Dried basil |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
Directions
Saute onions with garlic in olive oil for about 5 minutes. Add prosciutto and cook a few minutes longer. Add tomato sauce and simmer for about 3-4 minutes. Add pureed plum tomatoes, salt, and pepper and simmer for 1 hour.
Serve over linguine.
