Measure Ingredient
¼ ounce Creme de cassis
5 ounces White wine

A kir is roughly ¼ oz. creme de cassis and 5 oz. white wine. A kirroyale is the same thing, but with champagne substituted for the wine. Chambord makes a nice variation.
