Key lime pie #04

Measure Ingredient
1 \N 9 or 10-inch baked pastry shell or graham crumb crust
6 \N Egg yolks
2 cans (14-oz) sweetened; condensed milk
1 \N Bottle (8-oz) lime juice
\N \N Food colouring; yellow or green; optional
\N \N Whipped cream

From: Mark Alexander <mark@...> Preheat oven to 325F. In large mixer bowl, beat egg yolks with sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, and food colouring if desired. Pour into prepared pastry shell; bake 40 minutes. Cool. Chill. Top with whipped cream. Garnish as desired. Refrigerate leftovers.

Note: If using frozen packaged pie shell or 6oz packaged graham cracker crumb pie crust, use 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 3 egg yolks and ½ cup lime juice. Bake 30 minutes. Proceed as above.
