Italian chicken bake

3 | pounds | Whole chicken; cut up |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
¾ | teaspoon | Pepper |
½ | teaspoon | Garlic powder |
2 | cups | Fine bread crumbs |
¾ | cup | Grated Parmesan cheese |
3 | tablespoons | Dehydrated parsley flakes |
½ | teaspoon | Crushed oregano |
¼ | teaspoon | Thyme |
¼ | teaspoon | Savory |
Rub the outside of the chicken pieces with the salt and pepper. Set aside.
Stir the garlic powder into the melted butter and set aside while you prepare the bread crumb mixture. Mix the bread crumbs, cheese, parsley flakes, oregano, thyme and savory together until all are blended and completely mixed. Brush each piece of chicken with the garlic-flavored butter; then dip the buttered chicken in the seasoned bread crumb mixture.
Place the chicken pieces in a shallow baking pan; bake in a 350F oven for 45 minutes, or until golden brown and thick pieces can be pierced with a sharp fork. Serve piping hot.
