Honey-ginger-chili chicken

| ⅓ | cup | All-purpose flour |
| ¾ | teaspoon | Salt |
| ½ | teaspoon | Ground ginger |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| 3 | pounds | Chicken |
| ⅓ | cup | Honey |
| ⅓ | cup | Chili sauce |
| ⅓ | cup | Soy sauce |
| ½ | teaspoon | Ground ginger |
Directions
Heat oven to 425F. Heat shortening and butter in baking pan, 13x9x2 inches, in oven until melted. Mix flour, salt, ½ teaspoon ginger and the pepper. Coat chicken pieces thoroughly with flour mixture.
Place chicken skin sides down in pan. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
Turn chicken; bake 15 minutes. Remove chicken. Drain fat; line pan with aluminum foil. Return chicken to pan. Mix honey, chili sauce and ½ teaspoon ginger; pour on chicken. Bake 15 minutes, spooning honey mixture onto chicken every five minutes. serve immediately or refrigerate and serve chilled. 6 servings.
The first time I tryed this I used worcestershire sauce instead of soy sauce and it worked great.
