Yield: 1 Servings
|¼ cup||Butter or margarine|
|1 pack||Dry yeast|
|¼ cup||Lukewarm water|
Put sugar, butter & salt in large bowl. Scald milk & pour over these ingredients & let stand until melted. Add egg & beat well. Dissolve yeast in warm water & add to mixture. Beat in flour, 1 cup at a time until thoroughly mixed. Cover & let rise about 2 hours. Place dough on well-floured surface & add just enough flour to work dough without sticking. Make into rolls & allow to rise 1-½ hours. Bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes or until golden. You may refrigerate dough right after first rising & proceed later.
