| ¼ | cup | assorted chopped fresh herbs |

| 3½ | cup | chicken stock | 
| ¼ | cup | chopped smoked sausage | 
| 1.00 | tablespoon | unsalted butter; softened | 
Directions
Heat oil in a saucepan and add onions, garlic, orzo, salt and pepper. 
Cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes. Stir in herbs and stock and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, about 20 minutes. Remove pan from heat and stir in sausage and butter. This recipe yields ?? servings.
