Heavenly frozen-fruit salad

Ingredients

| 1 | teaspoon | Unflavored gelatine |
| 2 | tablespoons | Lemon juice |
| 1 | (3oz ) pk soft cream cheese | |
| ¼ | cup | Mayonnaise |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 2 | tablespoons | Sugar |
| ½ | cup | Heavy cream, whipped |
| ¼ | cup | Chopped nuts |
| ¼ | cup | Quartered maraschino cherries |
| 1 | each | Drained No, 2 can crushed pineapple; or 1 drained No. 303 can fruit |
| Cocktail; or 1 3/4 cups mixed, sliced fresh fruit | ||
| Turn refrigerator to 70's coldest setting. Soften gelatine in lemon juice in | ||
| Glass measuring cup. Set cup in pan of boiling water, stirring | ||
| Occasionally, till gelatine dissolves. Add to combined cheese, mayonnaise, | ||
| Salt, and sugar. Fold in rest of ingredients. Pour into ice-cube tray; | ||
| Freeze just until firm. Slice; serve on crisp greens. | ||
