Hearty beef noodle soup

| ⅓ | cup | Thinly sliced carrots |
| ⅓ | cup | Thinly sliced celery |
| ⅓ | cup | Chopped onions |
| 1 | pack | Lipton Noodles & Sauce - Beef flavor |
| 4 | cups | Water |
| 1 | can | (16 oz) whole tomatoes; drained and chopped (reserve liquid) |
| 2 | cups | Cut-up cooked beef |
| ½ | teaspoon | Basil |
| Salt and Pepper to taste | ||
Directions
In large saucepan, melt butter and cook carrots, celery and onion until almost tender. Stir in Lipton Noodles & Sauce, water, tomatoes, reserved liquid, beef and basil; bring to a boil. Continue boiling over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 7 minutes or until noodles are tender. Makes about 4 servings.
