Yield: 8 servings

Measure Ingredient
½ pounds Pitted dates
¼ pounds Raisins
4 \N Dried figs
1½ cup Sweet kosher wine
¼ pounds Walnuts
¼ pounds Alonds
2 tablespoons Sesame seeds
½ teaspoon Cumin
½ teaspoon Ground ginger
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon Cardamon

Place the dried fruits in a food processor or blender; chop fine.

Add ½ cup of the wine. Mix again at low speed. Add the remaining ingredients and mix at low speed until nearly smooth. Makes 8 servings.
