Moroccan haroseth

Ingredients

| 1 | pounds | Pitted dates, chopped |
| 1½ | cup | Sweet red Passover wine |
| 1 | teaspoon | Ground cinnamon |
| ½ | teaspoon | Ground cloves |
| 1 | cup | Walnuts, coarsely chopped |
Directions
Put the dates in a pan with the wine and seasonings and simmer until the mixture resembles a soft paste, about 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool. Add the walnuts and serve.
