Hamantaschen cookie dough #1

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Flour
2 teaspoons Baking powder
½ cup Sugar
½ teaspoon Salt (or more)
2 Eggs
½ pounds Margarine
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Cream margarine and sugar together and add eggs, beating thoroughly.

Sift dry ingredients and mix in. Knead into a ball. Roll out on floured board and cut into circles with a cookie cutter.

Place tablespoonful of filling (recipes to follow) on circle of dough. Fold into 3-cornered pocket by drawing up two adjacent sides and then the third. Pinch edges to seal. Bake at 350 F. for 30-40 min. depending on size
