Halfway house beans

Measure Ingredient
3 packs (10-oz) green beans; frozen (french style)
4 slices Bacon;
1 \N Onion;
4 mediums Tomatoes;
2 tablespoons To 3 tb sugar;
1 dash Salt & pepper;

Cook green beans and drain. Fry bacon and drain. Chop onion and saute in fat. Add tomatoes, sugar salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer until soft. about 20 minutes.
