Good sugar cookies {fredericksburg}

Ingredients

| 1 | cup | Brown sugar |
| 1 | cup | White sugar |
| 1 | cup | Shortening or margarine |
| ½ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 4 | cups | Flour |
| 1 | teaspoon | Soda dissolved in 2 Tb vine- gar |
Directions
Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs, salt, soda in vinegar, and vanilla. Mix well. Add flour. Shape into balls, flatten, fip top side in sugar. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350ø for 10 - 12 minutes.
