¼ cup | Vinegar |
1 tablespoon | Cornstarch |
⅓ cup | Soy sauce |
¼ cup | Water |
3 tablespoons | Brown sugar |
3 tablespoons | Honey |
½ teaspoon | Ground ginger |
½ teaspoon | Garlic powder |
⅛ teaspoon | Cayenne |
⅛ teaspoon | Ground cloves |
Cut franks bite size, set aside. Blend vinegar and cornstarch. Add soy, water, brown sugar, honey, ginger, garlic powder, cayenne and cloves. Mix well. Microwave uncovered on high 6 minutes or until thickened, stirring every 2 minutes. Stir franks into sauce, microwave uncovered on medium 10 minutes until thoroughly heated. Stir once. Makes 40 appetizers.
