Ingredients

| 1½ | cup | Bottled hickory smoke- flavored barbecue sauce |
| 10 | ounces | Jar apple jelly |
| Several dashes bottled hot pepper sauce | ||
| 16 | ounces | Package frankfurters OR |
| 1 | pounds | Cocktail weiners |
| 1½ | cup | Frozen small whole onions |
Directions
For sauce, in a small saucepan combine beer and cornstarch, then stir in barbecue sauce, apple jelly, and hot pepper sauce. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly, then cook and stir for 2 minutes more.
Bias-slice franks into bite-size pieces. Stir franks or cocktail weiners and frozen onions into sauce. Cook till heated through.
Serve warm.
