|12 ounces||Fresh baby carrots; washed|
|1½ tablespoon||Butter or margarine|
|1½ tablespoon||Brown sugar|
|⅛ teaspoon||Ground cloves|
|2 tablespoons||Chopped pecans ( optional)|
In a 1 quart covered casserole with 2 tablespoons water, microwave carrots 6 - 8 minutes, or until tender. In a small bowl or 1 cup glass measuring cup, microwave butter at high 30-45 seconds, or untilmelted. STir in brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves and salt. Drain carrots. Pour glaze over and stir to coat. Microwave at high 20 seconds to melt brown sugar, if needed. Stir. If disred, garnish with chopped pecans
