German cole slaw

Ingredients

QuantityIngredient
1Head of cabbage; shredded (I chop it in my food processor)
2mediumsOnions; cut in rings
1Green pepper; chopped
1Jar pimento; chopped & drained
1cupSugar
1cupWhite vinegar
¾cupCanola oil
1tablespoonSalt
1teaspoonCelery seeds (up to 2)

Directions

Combine cabbage, grn. pepper, onion & pimento in large bowl. Mix sugar & celery seed into this mixture. Combine vinegar, oil & salt in pan & bring to a boil. Pour immediately over cabbage.
