German apple cake-mix

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Bake it all mix
1 Egg
⅓ cup Granulated sugar
¼ cup Milk
¼ cup Bake it all mix
¼ cup Brown sugar -- packed
1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
3 cups Sliced apples*

*3 medium, pared and cored Break egg into bowl; beat. Blend in granulated sugar and milk. Add 1 cup Mix. Beat until thoroughly mixed. Pour batter into an 8-inch round cake pan, bottom rubbed with shortening. Blend ¼ cup Mix, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Sprinkle half of mixture over batter. Arrange apple slices in rows on top.

Sprinkle remaining mixture over apples. Bake in a 350 F. oven about 40 minutes. Serve warm with cream or whipped cream. Yield: One 8-inch round cake
