German apple kuchen

| 8 | ounces | Cream cheese; softened | 
| ⅓ | cup | Confectioner's sugar | 
| 2 | tablespoons | Margarine; softened | 
| 1 | pack | (8 oz) crescent rolls | 
| 3 | Apples (up to 4) | |
| ½ | cup | Flour | 
| ⅓ | cup | Brown sugar | 
| 3 | tablespoons | Margarine; softened | 
| ½ | cup | Chopped nuts | 
Directions
Heat oven to 375°. In medium bowl, blend cream cheese, sugar, cinnamon and margarine until smooth. Separate crescent rolls into 2 long rectangles. 
Press into ungreased 13x9" pan to form crust. Crust should go up sides slightly. Seal perferations. Spread cheese mixture on top. Pare and slice apples. Place in 3-4 rows on dough. Completely cover cheese mixture. In small bowl, blend flour, brown sugar, margarine and chopped nuts. Sprinkle on top of apples. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes until apples are tender and crust golden.
