Garbanzo bean soup

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ pounds Garbanzo beans
1 tablespoon Salt
1 \N Beef bone; * see note
1 \N Ham bones
2 quarts Water
4 ounces White bacon
1 pinch Paprika
1 \N Onion
1 pounds Potatoes
2 ounces Lard
1 pinch Saffron
\N \N Salt; to taste
1 \N Spanish sausage

Soak beans overnight with salt, drain. Add water and the two bones. Cook 45 minutes on low. Fry bacon, paprika, onion in lard. Add along with potaotoes, saffron and salt. Add chorizos cut thin. Cook until sausage, beans and potatoes are done about 1 hour more.

NOTES : Instead on beef bone, I use 1 teaspoon beef flavor bouillon.
