Fruited coffee bread

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
¾ cup Water
2 tablespoons Margarine, softened
1 cup Bread flour
1 cup Whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons Packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1½ teaspoon Yeast
1 cup Canned fruit pie filling (any flavor)

Place all ingredients except pie filling in bread machine pan. Select Dough cycle.

Roll dough into a 13 x 8 inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Spread pie filling lengthwise down center third of rectangle. Make cuts 2 inches long at 1 inch intervals on each 13 inch side of rectangle. Fold strips at an angle over filling; overlapping & crossing in center. Cover & let rise in warm place 30-45 minutes or until double.

Bake at 375F for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to a wire rack &

cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle with a glaze.
