Fruit smoked pork chops

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
4 Pork chops -- smoked
½ teaspoon Sage -- ground
¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
¼ cup Raisins -- seedless
1 small Apple, tart -- cored &
Sliced
1 tablespoon Flour -- all-purpose
¼ cup Fruit juice -- or water
1½ teaspoon Vinegar -- cider
2 tablespoons Sugar, brown -- firmly
Packed

Grill chops over hot coals 10 minutes. Place on heavy-duty aluminum foil; sprinkle with sage, satl, and pepper. Top with raisins and apple; set aside.

Combine flour and water; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened. Stir in vinegar and brown sugar; pour over chops. Seal securely. Return to grill for 30 minutes or until tender.
