Fresh fruit dip #1

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Sugar
⅔ cup Light corn syrup
½ cup Hot water
2 Stiffly beaten egg whites
1 dash Salt
¼ teaspoon Vanilla
¼ cup Mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Shredded orange peel

Combine first 3 ingredients & heat slowly, stirring until sugar dissolves.

Boil without stirring to form ball stage (248 degrees). Gradually beat hot syrup into beaten egg whites. Add salt & vanilla. Cool. Fold in mayonnaise & orange peel. Serve with fresh pineapple, strawberries, bananas, etc.
