Frankfurters with a flair

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Frankfurters
¼ pounds Sharp cheddar cheese
⅓ teaspoon Powdered or bottled horseradish
½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon Steak sauce
¼ teaspoon Onion powder
2 \N 8 ounce cans tomato sauce
¼ teaspoon Brown sugar
1 teaspoon Chili powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Make a slit lengthwise in each frankfurter. Combine next 6 ingredients; stuff franks. Place franks in shallow baking pan; mix tomato sauce, brown sugar and chili powder. Pour over franks. Bake for 30 minutes.

Serve on a split bun or as an entree with rice, pasta or noodles.
