Flaming caramel bannanas

Ingredients

QuantityIngredient
8Bananas; cut 1 inch thick
½cupGrand Marnier; warmed in mircowave
100gramsButter
8tablespoonsBrown sugar, packed
1tablespoonLemon juice; to taste
1cupWhipped cream, light
1dashVanilla extract; add to whipped cream
1dashGrand Marnier; add to whipped cream

Directions

1. Add vanilla extrat and a dash of Grand Marnier to cream and whip until very thick. Put aside.

2. Heat remaining Grand Marnier in a small ceramic milk jug. Do not boil.

3. Melt butter in deep frying pan, add sugar and caramelise. 4. Add bananas and brown. 5.Arrange bannana onto service bowls, with cream on side. 6.

When serving, set jug of Grand Manier on fire and pour over bannanas.
