Filet mignon with pasilla chile bbq sauce

Measure Ingredient
4 Filet mignon steaks (8
ounce Each)
Salt and freshly ground
Black pepper to taste
Pasilla Chile BBQ Sauce
Pasilla Chile BBQ Sauce---
1½ cup New Mexicostyle BBQ Sauce,
Recipe follows
2 tablespoons Maple syrup
2 tablespoons Pasilla chile powder
¼ cup Chopped cilantro

Mix all ingredients well and marinate filets for 1 hour. Prepare a wood or charcoal grill and let burn down to embers. Remove filets from BBQ sauce and cook on grill for 4 minutes on each side for medium rare.
