Fantastic layered salad(seven-layer salad)

Ingredients

| 1⅓ | cup | Water |
| ½ | cup | Salt; |
| 1½ | cup | MINUTE Rice; |
| 3½ | cup | Iceberg lettuce(1 head); |
| 1 | small | Red onion; thinly sliced |
| 1 | pack | BIRDS EYE green peas; thawed |
| 1 | cup | Red kidney beans; drained |
| 1 | cup | Good Seasons Italian; prepared -=OR=- |
| 1 | cup | Cheese Italian Salad Dressing |
Directions
Bring water and salt to a full boil in medium saucepan. Stir in rice.
Cover; remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork; cool.
Place 1½ cups of the lettuce in 2-quart straight-sided bowl. Add half of the onion and top with half of the rice. Add a layer peas.
Repeat lettuce, onion and rice layers. Top with kidney beans and add remaining lettuce. Cover and chill. About 1 hour before serving, pour dressing evenly over salad and cover and chill. Store any leftover salad in refrigerator. Makes 8 servings.
