Layered vegetable salad

1 | cup | Sour cream |
1 | cup | Mayonnaise |
1 | teaspoon | Seasoned salt |
1 | tablespoon | Chopped fresh basil |
3 | cups | Torn iceberg lettuce |
2 | cups | Chopped tomatoes |
½ | cup | Chopped Vidalia onion |
1 | large | Cucumber; sliced |
2 | larges | Carrots; peeled and sliced |
2 | cups | Grated Cheddar cheese |
1 | cup | Cooked crumbled bacon |
Combine first five ingredients and blend well. In a large glass bowl, layer lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cucumber and carrots. Spread dressing evenly over vegetables. Sprinkle cheese over dressing. Garnish with bacon. Yield: 10 servings.
