Fancy brussels sprouts

¼cupFresh parsley; minced
1teaspoonSugar
½teaspoonSalt; optional
2pintsFresh brussels sprouts halved
OR 2 pkg 10 oz frozen; thawed
8ouncesWater chestnuts; drained, diced
1tablespoonButter or margarine

Directions

In a saucepan over medium heat, bring water, parsley, sugar and salt to a boil. Add brussels sprouts. Cover and simmer for 6-8 minutes or until tender; drain. Add water chestnuts and butter; heat through.
