Trim off all excess fat and membranes from meat; rub the meat with oil and crushed black pepper, and marinate for a few hours. Serve in a hot saute pan and roast in a hot oven, turning often until meat is medium-rare. Slice meat across the grain. Serve in fresh-baked dark pumpernickel bread, topped with 2 fried eggs with au jus served on the side.
