Deluxe jalepeno cornbread

Ingredients

| 1 | cup | Yellow cornmeal |
| 17 | ounces | Whole kernel corn |
| ½ | teaspoon | Baking soda |
| ¾ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | Jalepeno peppers chopped | |
| 2 | Eggs beaten | |
| 1 | cup | Buttermilk |
| Pimento chopped | ||
| ½ | cup | Margarine melted |
| 1 | cup | Cheddar cheese grated |
| 1 | medium | Onion chopped |
Directions
Mix all ingredients except cheese. Pour into a well-greased 9x9" pan.
Place the 1 C. cheese on top. Bake at 350^ for 45 minutes. Serves 4-6 people.
