Deluxe jalepeno cornbread

Yield: 9 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Yellow cornmeal
17 ounces Whole kernel corn
½ teaspoon Baking soda
¾ teaspoon Salt
1 \N Jalepeno peppers chopped
2 \N Eggs beaten
1 cup Buttermilk
\N \N Pimento chopped
½ cup Margarine melted
1 cup Cheddar cheese grated
1 medium Onion chopped

Mix all ingredients except cheese. Pour into a well-greased 9x9" pan.

Place the 1 C. cheese on top. Bake at 350^ for 45 minutes. Serves 4-6 people.
