Decorating butter cream

Ingredients

| ½ | cup | Shortening | 
| ½ | cup | Butter Or Margarine; Butter Is Better | 
| 1½ | teaspoon | Vanilla; Not Imitation | 
| 5 | cups | Confectioner's Sugar; 1-1/3 Lbs | 
| 3 | tablespoons | Milk | 
Directions
1. Cream butter and shortening with mixer for 3 minutes on high speed. 
2. Add vanilla.
3. Gradually add sugar, one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed. 
4. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl often. 
5. Mix on high speed for 5 minutes. 
For snow white icing, use all vegetable shortening.
