Decorating butter cream

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Shortening
½ cup Butter Or Margarine; Butter Is Better
1½ teaspoon Vanilla; Not Imitation
5 cups Confectioner's Sugar; 1-1/3 Lbs
3 tablespoons Milk

1. Cream butter and shortening with mixer for 3 minutes on high speed.

2. Add vanilla.

3. Gradually add sugar, one cup at a time, beating well on medium speed.

4. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl often.

5. Mix on high speed for 5 minutes.

For snow white icing, use all vegetable shortening.
