Butter cream frosting

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds 10x confectioners' sugar
½ cup Unsalted butter, room temperature
½ teaspoon Vanilla
½ teaspoon Lemon extract
3 tablespoons Half and half

1. Beat together 10x sugar, butter, vanilla, lemon extract, and half-and-half in a large bowl with electric mixer at medium-low speed until smooth and creamy. (The frosting can be made ahead and refrigerated, covered, for up to 2 weeks. Before using, let stand at room temperature until soft enough to spread.) 2. Spread the frosting evenly over tops and sides of some of the cakes.
