Date macaroons

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 Egg whites
1 cup Chopped dates
1 cup Powdered sugar
1 cup Chopped nuts

Beat egg whites until stiff and dry. Add remaining ingredients in order given. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto well-oiled baking sheet. Bake in slow oven (325 F) until delicate brown. Cool before removing from pan. 24 servings. Mrs. R.F. Estes, Laramie, WY.
