Crock pot fish stew a la carolyn

Ingredients

3largesRed Snapper Or Flounder 1 1/4 To 1 1/2 Lb; cut in 2\" pieces
2tablespoonsOlive Oil Or Melted Butter
1Clove garlic; minced
1largeOnion; sliced
1Green Pepper; cut in 1\" pieces
1Zucchini Squash ( Or 2); unpeeled & sliced
1can(15 oz.) whole tomatoes
½teaspoonLeaf basil
½teaspoonLeaf oregano
1teaspoonSalt
teaspoonPepper
¼cupDry White Wine
½cupFresh Mushrooms ( To 3/4 Cup); optional

Directions

Combine all ingredients in crockpot. Stir gently, but thoroughly. Cover and cook on High setting for 4 to 6 hours. Makes 6 servings (about 3 quarts).
