Cremettes with fresh tomato sauce

Ingredients

1pack(7-oz) Creamettes elbow macaroni
1mediumGreen pepper; chopped
1smallOnion; chopped
1Clove garlic; minced
2tablespoonsMargarine
6mediumsFresh tomatoes; peeled, seeded and chopped
1teaspoonBasil leaves
½teaspoonSalt
¼teaspoonPepper

Directions

Prepare Creamettes Elbow Macaroni as package directs; drain. In large skillet, cook green pepper, onion and garlic in margarine until tender.

Stir in tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper; simmer 5 minutes. Combine hot cooked macaroni and tomato sauce; mix well. Serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers.
