Creamy purple onion & basil dip

¼cupFresh Basil; Chopped, OR
4teaspoonsDried Basil; Crushed
1cupSour Cream
¼cupCarrot; Shredded
¼cupPurple Onion; Chopped
¼teaspoonSalt
¼teaspoonBlack Pepper

Directions

Beat the cream cheese to a smooth consistency, gradually adding the basil. Blend in the sour cream and add the remaining ingredients, blending well. Cover and chill. Makes about 2½ cups of dip.
