Cream sauce & cream soup base

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Cashews
3 cups Water
1 tablespoon Chicken-style seasoning
1 teaspoon Onion powder
⅛ teaspoon Garlic
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
2 tablespoons White flour

Blend, heat, stirring until smooth. This sauce may be used as is for a substitute for canned mushroom soup in recipes. Cream Soups: Add any steamed vegetable you desire to the cream sauce, dilute the sauce with water, and adjust seasonings. Chick Pea A-La-King: Add sauteed onions and mushrooms, green peas, pimentos, and garbanzo beans (cooked), to cooked cream sauce. Serve over noodles, biscuits, or toast.
