Ingredients

1Bag Ocean Spray cranberries
1mediumRed onion, chopped
½cupAlmonds, whole
1mediumApple, chopped
2Navel oranges, chopped
1cupDry red wine (cabernet sauvignon, merlot, etc.)
1cupDemerara sugar (or opt for light brown or turbinado sugar)
1teaspoonGrated orange peel
½teaspoonEach: allspcice, cinnmon, ginger
¼Teapsoon ground clove

Directions

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Combine all ingredients in a stainless steel pot.

Bring to a boil uncovered. Then lower to a simmer and cover for for the remaining cooking time: about 1 hour. The mixture should be thick like a good finished jam or marmalade.
