Cranberry chutney 3

Ingredients

1cupOnion
1cupWater
½cupSugar
¾cupBrown sugar
2Apple -- peeled and cubed
½cupCider vinegar
½teaspoonSalt
1teaspoonGinger
1teaspoonMace
Some fresh ginger -- grated
2Orange rinds -- chopped
1quartCranberries
½cupRaisins, boil hard for 10 minutes

Directions

Cook onions, water, sugars for 30 minutes then add the apples, vinigar, salt, ginger, mace and grated ginger, oranges, and cook for another 30 minutes. Add the cranberries the juice of two oranges, and ½ cup raisins and boil hard for 10 minutes.
