Cowtown bbq sauce

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1¼ pint Ketchup
1½ cup Sugar
¼ cup Apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Molasses
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Liquid smoke flavoring
1½ teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Black pepper
¼ teaspoon Onion powder
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 \N Splash whiskey

Combine all ingredients except whiskey and simmer 1 hour, stirring often.

Add splash of whiskey (or brandy) and cook 30 min. more.
