Cowpoke barbecue sauce

Ingredients

¼cupBrown sugar, firmly packed
¼cupSalad oil
2teaspoonsSalt
1teaspoonGarlic powder
1cupVinegar
¾cupLemon juice
2cupsWater
1eachWorcestershire sauce - 5 oz
1eachTabasco sauce - to taste

Directions

Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring quickly to boiling point.

Reduce heat and simmer ten minutes. Cool and pour into one-quart container. (will keep refrigerated several weeks.)
