Coddled eggs

Measure Ingredient
6 eaches Eggs
\N \N Cayenne
1½ cup Milk
2 tablespoons Melted butter or bacon fat
\N \N Salt and Pepper

Beat eggs with fork until whites and yolks are blended. Add milk.

Pour into pan containing butter. Cook over hot water, stirring constantly, until thickened. Season to taste. Serve at once on buttered toast. 6 servings. The Household Searchlight
